Meet Chanique

I am a passionate Movement Specialist, Performer, Dance Teacher and Coach, and the proud owner of House of Classique. My career has always been centred around movement in all its forms—from dance and performance to aerial arts, strength, flexibility, fitness and wellbeing. I love helping people discover what their bodies are capable of, build confidence and develop a genuine enjoyment of movement.

With a wide range of qualifications and experience across different disciplines, I bring knowledge, energy and passion to everything I teach. My qualifications include Level 3 Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Pilates with Small Equipment, Advanced Anatomy, Women’s Health including Menopause and Programming, Pilates for Common Orthopaedic Conditions and Pilates for Adults.

My background also extends into dance, aerial arts and performance. I am qualified in XPERT Pole Fitness, Aerial Hoop and Aerial Silks, as well as UKA Disco Freestyle Dance and ADFP Dance Adjudication for Competitions. I also hold Level 2 Safeguarding, Emergency First Aid and Paediatric First Aid qualifications, am DBS Enhanced Checked and fully insured.

My own journey as a performer and competitor has given me extensive experience across a variety of disciplines. I have been an International Finalist in Expert Pole, an accomplished performer, a champion Irish dancer and a Disco Freestyle dancer. These experiences have taught me the importance of dedication, discipline, technique, confidence and, most importantly, enjoying the journey.

I also have a strong passion for teaching and developing competitive performers. Over the years, I have taught and coached many individuals to the highest standards, helping them achieve excellent competitive results. I take great pride in developing not only technical ability, but also confidence, performance quality, discipline and the belief to step outside their comfort zone and achieve their goals.

I particularly love working with children and young people through my Afterschool Dance Classes, encouraging them to explore movement, creativity and self-expression. I believe dance can be a powerful way for children to build confidence, develop their individuality and express their emotions, while supporting positive physical and emotional wellbeing from an early age.

At House of Classique, I want to create more than just classes—I want to create a welcoming, supportive and inspiring community where people of all ages and abilities can discover something they love. Whether that is dance, aerial, pole, Pilates, performance, fitness or simply moving their body and building confidence, everyone should feel encouraged to be themselves and reach their own potential.

I am always committed to learning and growing within my profession. I am currently completing my Level 4 Pilates qualification, which will allow me to work with GP referrals and further expand the support I can offer to individuals with different movement and health needs.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: movement has the power to transform how we feel, both physically and emotionally. My goal is to help every person who walks through the doors of House of Classique feel stronger, more confident, more capable and proud of what they can achieve.

When I’m not teaching, coaching or performing, I love spending time at the gym, with my family and friends, and of course enjoying time with my animals.
