Welcome to House of Classique ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing our website, booking a class or session, or attending any of our classes, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Studio Policies.
These policies are in place to ensure that House of Classique remains a safe, professional, welcoming and respectful environment for everyone.
Our classes and services may include Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Pole Fitness, Aerial Hoop, Aerial Silks, Dance, Performance, Children's Classes and other movement-based activities.
1. General Terms of Use
All content on our website and social media is provided for general informational and educational purposes.
Participants must be 18 years or over, unless the class is specifically advertised as a children's, junior or youth class.
Participants under 18 must have appropriate parental or guardian consent and may be subject to additional requirements depending on the activity.
By booking or attending any class, course, workshop, private session or event, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and all reasonable instructions given by House of Classique instructors and staff.
House of Classique reserves the right to refuse participation where we believe it is necessary for the safety or wellbeing of the participant, instructor or other members.
2. Booking & Cancellation Policy
All classes and sessions must be booked in advance through our designated booking system, website or app.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time to avoid losing the session credit.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class will not normally be credited or refunded, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
We do not offer refunds for individual classes, class packs, memberships or missed sessions, except where required by law or at the discretion of House of Classique.
Private sessions require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
Repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may result in restrictions being placed on future bookings.
3. Behaviour & Studio Etiquette
At House of Classique, we are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive and respectful environment.
All participants are expected to:
Arrive on time and be ready to participate at the scheduled start time.
Follow all safety instructions and guidance given by instructors.
Treat instructors, staff and fellow participants with courtesy and respect.
Refrain from aggressive, intimidating, discriminatory, offensive or inappropriate behaviour.
Keep mobile phones on silent and avoid unnecessary use during classes.
Respect the studio, equipment and facilities.
Inform the instructor before class of any relevant injury, pregnancy, medical condition or physical limitation that may affect participation.
Late arrivals may not be permitted to participate where joining the class would compromise safety, particularly for Pole, Aerial, Pilates or other physically demanding sessions.
House of Classique reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any participant whose behaviour is considered unsafe, abusive, disruptive or inappropriate.
4. Health, Fitness & Injury Policy
Participation in physical activities at House of Classique is undertaken at your own risk.
Our activities can involve physical exertion and, depending on the class, may include lifting, stretching, inversion, spinning, aerial movement, climbing, apparatus work, impact, balance and other physically demanding movements.
Participants should inform their instructor of any injury, illness, pregnancy, medical condition, medication or physical limitation that may affect their ability to participate safely.
If you are unsure whether a class is suitable for you, you should seek appropriate medical advice before participating.
Participants are responsible for working within their own physical capabilities and should never attempt a movement they feel is unsafe or beyond their current ability.
Instructors may modify, restrict or stop an activity where they believe it is necessary for safety.
Participants must follow all safety instructions and use equipment only as instructed.
House of Classique cannot guarantee that participation will be free from injury, and participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with physical activity, dance, pole and aerial disciplines.
5. Pole & Aerial Safety
Because Pole, Aerial Hoop and Aerial Silks involve specialist equipment and movements, additional safety requirements apply.
Participants must follow all instructor instructions regarding the safe use of apparatus.
No participant should attempt advanced tricks, drops, inversions or movements without appropriate instruction and progression.
Jewellery, loose clothing or other items that may damage equipment or cause injury may need to be removed before participating.
Participants must notify their instructor of any relevant injury or condition before using aerial or pole equipment.
House of Classique reserves the right to restrict participation in certain movements where an instructor believes the participant is not yet ready or where safety may be compromised.
Participants must not use studio apparatus outside of instructed class activities unless expressly authorised by a House of Classique instructor.
6. Dance & Performance Classes
House of Classique offers dance and performance training for a range of ages and abilities.
Participants are expected to follow instructor guidance and maintain appropriate behaviour throughout classes.
Appropriate clothing and footwear may be required depending on the style of dance.
Participants should arrive prepared and ready to participate.
Where classes involve performances, competitions, examinations or showcases, additional terms may apply.
House of Classique cannot guarantee competition, examination or performance outcomes, as results depend on a variety of individual and external factors.
7. Photography & Media
From time to time, House of Classique may photograph or film classes, performances, workshops or events for promotional and marketing purposes, including our website and social media.
Participants will be informed when photography or filming is taking place.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please inform us before the class or event.
Participants must not photograph or film instructors or other participants without appropriate permission.
Where children or young people are involved, appropriate parental/guardian consent will be obtained for photography or filming where required.
8. Class Packs & Memberships
Class packs and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law.
Expiry dates apply and will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.
Class pack expiry dates will not normally be extended unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as injury or illness, and this will be at the discretion of House of Classique. Medical evidence may be requested.
Memberships may renew automatically depending on the membership plan selected.
Members are responsible for managing their membership and ensuring that cancellation requests are submitted in accordance with the applicable notice period.
Memberships and class packs cannot be shared with another person unless expressly authorised by House of Classique.
9. Private Lessons, Coaching & Competitions
Private lessons and coaching sessions must be booked in advance.
The 24-hour cancellation policy applies to private sessions.
Participants receiving competition or performance coaching are responsible for attending sessions, practising appropriately and following agreed training plans.
While House of Classique will provide professional instruction and support, no specific competition result, placing, qualification or performance outcome can be guaranteed.
Instructors may recommend that a participant does not attempt a particular movement, routine or skill if they believe it is unsuitable or unsafe.
10. Children & Young People
Children's and youth classes are subject to the age requirements stated for each individual class.
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that all relevant information regarding their child is provided to House of Classique.
Parents/guardians should inform us of any medical, behavioural, learning or physical considerations that may affect participation.
Children must follow instructor instructions and appropriate studio behaviour expectations.
House of Classique reserves the right to ask a participant to stop participating where their behaviour creates a safety concern for themselves or others.
